Assuming that the person you support for this election ends up NOT winning, how do you think that will change your life over the next 4 years?

First of all, the Iraq "fiasco" was happening far before Bush was in office...

Second of all..

<<The fact that Conservatives say if Obama wins his Presidency will fail are being pretty darn presumptuous if you ask me. >>

And the Liberals don't say the same if McCain wins?

With regard to your comment on the economy, if we have a republican president and a democratic congress, history shows that there is significantly less spending than if both the president and the congress are of the same party.

McCain will give us more of the same. I personally, don't feel his health is all the good. Being President I sure is very taxing on a person, and his health the way it is is not as good as it should be. Plus, I said why I don't want McCain to win, my Dh will get an 18.00 tax difference, why bother? Both of my sons will do better under Obama than McCain. I vote my pocketbook.

we're taking different things from what she said ... she's not saying he will fail b/c he's black, got big ears, or is democrat ... she's saying he will fail b/c ANYONE who wins will ... b/c things are just that bad.

Warning: Legitimate questions ahead - no snarkiness or sarcasm intended.

Do you believe we would be safer from Iran because McCain is more likely to issue a pre-emptive attack independent of UN approval than Obama?

I'll answer without snarkiness too... (gotta love that word...)

I believe we would be safer with McCain than with Obama as follows.

It isn't racist at all.....in fact when we were talking about the lack of McCain media attention people said that since Obama was the first

With that logic, I should not vote for another white male since we were attacked by terrorists under both Clinton and Bush, and the Carter, Bush, Clinton, and Bush presidencies all ended in a recession (I don't think Reagan 'technically' counts, but it could be argued that Bush 41 inherited his mess).
