I am just saying you reap what you sow. What did they expect when they showed up with anti-McCain signs at a pro-McCain rally????? What I heard was pretty low brow and uninformed but not outrageous or even unexpected given how close we are to election day.

ITA... once someone has been demonized as "the other", it can be dangerous.

"It is an opportunity for dialogue and peaceful opposition."

So showing up with signs at a pro-McCain rally, some of which could not even be shown for whatever reason, is an opprotunity for dialogue and peaceful opposition??

Perhaps that is what Fred Phelps is attempting when he shows up at soldiers funerals with his hate filled signs, constitutional rights and all.........

~If they weren't there none of this would have been going on so who is the instigator?~

Personally, I do think that calling a presidential candidate a "terrorist" is outrageous.

I encourage all McCain supporters to show up at all Obama rallies and have an opportunity to voice their opinions if it is done in a peaceful, non-hateful manner.

I will agree that I have been VERY disturbed by some of what I have seen and heard inside McCain/Plain rallies this past week.

I did read the signs, and saw nothing hateful.

Do McCain supporters not show up at Obama events already?
