I started a similar McCain thread so I wanted to do the same for Obama. Why do you support Obama? Please refrain from comparing Obama to McCain or posting any anti-McCain remarks. I want to know why you're voting for Obama

Yes, Obama is sooo intelligent he thought kids with asthma used a breathalizer. Obama is sooo intelligent he thinks America has 57 states. Obama is sooo intelligent he thinks patriotism is paying taxes. Obama is soooo intelligent he wants to sit down with rithless dictators without preconditions. Obama is sooo intelligent he wants to pull the rug out from under the Iraqi people, and shift the war to Afghanistan while Iran takes over Iraq as a base from which to strike Israel. but that's all right, because Obama hates Jews any way. His ex pastor, Jeremiah Wright, has drummed hatred of Jews and hatred of America into Obama's head for twenty years. How can Obama not hate Jews, and not hate all 57 states of America?

Who really pays any attention to Colin Powell any more? Powell is a washed up has been. Powell lied while people died. Isn't that what most Democrats think? Code Pink thought it! So did Cindy Sheehan! His endorsement won't carry much weight with the voters Obama hopes to attract.

Excuse me, but please go post somewhere else. This thread, as well as the McCain thread, is meant to be positive. If you want to spew your negativity then start your own thread.

Excuse me, but where is that written? Where is the sign saying this? I'm sorry if you can't take the truth about Obama.

If you read the original post of this thread and the McCain thread then you would know the reasons behind why I started them. If you would like to discuss in a positive way why you support McCain then please feel free to do so on the McCain thread. Of course I cannot stop you from spewing your negativity but by doing so you only bring down yourself as well as the candidate you support.

If you would look at the first post, you would read that this is to give reasons for supporting Obama.

I did post a reply on the McCain thread, and it wasn't a very flattering one either. So I guess I leveled the playing field. Fair enough? Now, we can sit here and argue about this all night, and look silly for doing it, or we can both let it go. I opt for letting go. The ball is in your court.

Your name-calling is not appreciated, nor is your inaccurate summary.

I was never arguing to begin with so as far as I'm concerned there is no "ball" b/c I wasn't playing a game. Btw, it was completely up to you to post in the McCain thread and if you chose to post a rather unflattering message then that too was your choice. It's not about leveling the playing field. Posting an unflattering message for McCain does not make your negative Obama message "fair".
