I wonder what would happen if.......

.... a republican strategist, or a conservative commentator, on Fox News Channel had said that Pres. BHO was liked because he was viewed by the democrat party as a "black man who knows his place"?
How much attention would that comment have drawn and in how much of the media?
How much outcry would there be?
How many would be loudly calling for apologies from the network, the show and the host of said show?
How many would vilify the person who made the statement?
I wonder....and I wonder why not.

Only if they *are* racist.

Considering how many moderate Republicans have been completely turned off by where the GOP is going and the extremists that have been entered the race, I'd say that, yes, the "base" of the GOP is racist. I base that specifically on what the extreme far right has actually said. I think the Republican "base" isn't as big as what the Republicans think it is and they are making a mistake by catering to that crowd. I hope that clarifies where I'm coming from.
That study doesn't really show much of a difference in conservative and liberal racism and goes to prove that
Your link confirms that
A question from your link:
What, then, happens when someone who has a hidden racist streak is in charge of the hiring process?
Overtly or aversive, racism is still racism.
Win elections and get liberals out off office.
"Resist, we much. We must, and we much. About that, be committed."
This
Well, no. That just shows that you have a bias against liberals!
It does nothing to address the hidden racial bias that people have!
It seems pretty obvious to me that it is liberals who are the bunch most obsessed by race.
