The polls are tightening even though they've showed Obama ahead for a few weeks.

But I think McCain just might pull it off.

Exactly! You can't say for certain that he wasn't there. I think it's more likely that he was, or at least, was aware of it. I'm sorry, I don't know what my priest says every week, but if he or my church had these views, you can bet I'd know and be aware of it!

As for the birth certificate thing- like I said, a million times, I don't think it has merit. BUT, someone who has nothing to hide would make this whole thing null and just ask Congress to declare he's a citizen. It's what McCain did. Why make it all smoke and mirrors? I dont' get it.

I don't think his political career will be over if he loses.

None of their policial careers will be over if they lose, as they all have political jobs to go back to.

Excuse me, but it offends me that you think that I haven't made an informed decision just because I happen to disagree with you! This is why you get people telling you why they're

Right. But because he knew that some crazies might go out there during the campaign and say, you were born in Panama! HE preempted it and had them declare it was stupid and of course he was a citizen. When Berg filed the lawsuit in PA, Obama couldve done the same thing...couldn't he? So why not?

I can understand why she came to that conclusion. There's a big difference between saying "I don't know enough about Obama" and saying "I don't like the things I know about Obama."

He didn't have to because he knew that he was born in Hawaii. Has there been some recent decision that made Hawaii a non-U.S. state that I don't know about? That would be like making Joe Biden prove that he's a citizen because he was born in Pennsylvania. How absurd!

Plus, if any of them had to spend their time defending every stupid, pathetic grasp at straws, this election process would be twice as long as it already is.

Sen Obama did not need to declare it was stupid, a judge did that for him when he threw the case out.

I think this is extremely perceptive.

This election should be an amazing "slam dunk" for the Democrats.
