The polls are tightening even though they've showed Obama ahead for a few weeks.

But I think McCain just might pull it off.

In regards to Sen Obama's voting record and Sen McCain's, did you actually tally and compare their votes of "present"?

To be fair, look at how long McCain has been in office versus Obama and the 'present' votes.

Did you read the whole rest of this particular article?

"The basic premise is that liberals are dangerously blind, because they are consistently incampable of understanding conservatives, whereas conservatives can quite easily understand the liberal point of view. I recommend that you read it. "

This is the "in" thing to think in certain circles right now, but the majority of sweeping, and laughable, generalizations that I have seen do not represent ANY of the liberals that I know.

Anything they say in particular, as to WHY they are afraid of Obama, is all ignorant rhetoric from McCain's campaign, not their own thoughts.

Pretty arrogant to assume you know what people think.

I have little respect for John McCain after watching this campaign.

No, he could not.

_If you find his character admirable, it makes me wonder what kinds of attributes you value in a leader (or a person, for that matter)._

Which of McCain's policy proposals do you think are better than Obama's policy plans?
