"Please explain how the nation will utilize the methods McCain and Palin want for security without taxes?"

Here's an interesting article regarding Palin and the oil industry.

<We can also look at it this way, the president really doesn't have that much authority.

Which brings us back to personality, people this election more than any other IMO are voting solely on who they like personally, not on their ability to do a good job.

This is very disturbing if people are indeed voting based solely on personality for two reasons:

"The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center estimates that McCain's plan, which at its peak would cover 5 million of the uninsured, would increase the deficit by $1.3 trillion over 10 years. Obama's plan, which would cover 34 million of the uninsured, would cost $1.6 trillion over that time period."

<< ... As for the school yard games of name calling, maybe it is time that both parties grow up and act like the adults they pretend to be. >>

True, but if one party continues to play the game, the other can't walk away. Dukakis walked, Gore walked, Kerry walked and look what we got - a hairline election that was twisted in favor of Bush.
