Ooops, you mistakenly forgot to mention that Ayers was never convicted of a crime and his alleged "association" with Obama involved donating $200 to Obama's 2001 re-election campaign.

And that Ayers is currently a distinguished professor at the University of Illinois

>>The idea of people flaunting deviant sexual behavior and then demanding special rights based on behavior is grossly repugnant to me and to many others whom I love and respect.

As I stated earlier in this thread:

They served in 2 organizations together where they were both on the board. Obama's career was launched from Ayers home. And, they've been in contact as recently as 2005 by phone and email. Obama only cut ties with Ayers when he decided he might want to be president.

As for his being a professor, it gives me even more reason to worry about our collegiate system.

I read what you said, I just picked the most outrageous part to reply to. I wasn't really even interested in the post at all until I read that part. It's just more of the same junk I can read in any right wing post - too much effort to diapel and then you guys don't listen anyway so why bother. Honestly it is like talking to a brick wall and I don't usually do that. But if it makes you feel better keep responding - I probably won't read it but hey get it off your chest. Personally I find the homophobic fears and exaggerations a bit much. But what ever rocks your boat.

Really responding to such outrageousness only encourages them - best to either laugh or ignore. They don't want to be enlightened - they enjoy the drama.

Personally I take it as a compliment.

Oooh...young black men with goals for the future. Why would I find that scary?

That isn't what I found scary.

He's an inspiration to them. Haven't you ever been inspired by someone?

Does it change your opinion of Obama to know that his mother was 100% white?

yes and he was 24 at the time. He is now a 60 year old man who has gone on to do good things with his life. Teaching at a university. Just imagine how silly this looks to all the young students he teaches every day!! A bunch of adults running around worried that Obama may have associated with their college professor! LOL Almost makes me WANT to send my daughter to the University of Illinois! I guess none of his poor students will ever be able to grow up and be president because they 'had a relationship' with him! Do you all realize how silly this sounds?
