Getting info from the internet is always a roll of the dice, but I stumbled upon this link and thought I'd put it up for discussion.

Alaska mommas - please chime in and set the record straight if any of this data is wrong! :)

I haven't bothered - I don't spend a lot of time digging into blog-based attacks from either side.

I prefer to look at actual news.

(coming out of lurkdom)

Of course it's unsubstantiated. I'm sure there are a lot of journalists in Alaska trying to find out the truth, and I for one am VERY interested to know.

Did Palin try to censor the books in her city library, then fire the librarian who refused? I have no idea, but if it's true it says a lot about her and how she does business. These are things the voters should know before they decide.

Of course there is a lot of speculation about her - no one knows enough about her to make it real news yet. Joe Biden is no mystery - there's no reason for a bunch of bloggers to start speculating about him. He has 30+ years of public record to tell us who he is. No so for Palin.

Thank you for confirming almost every stereotype I have about republicans. Say "god will save us from global warming" and you'll complete the package.

Um....McCain is also going to tax the rich more than he taxes the poor, and part of that money will be used to fund social services for the poor. As has every president in several generations.

The difference, however, is that McCain is not going to make the tax rates even more inequitable than they are now.
