Nancy Pelosi thinks her book tour is much more important than an "up" or "down" vote for domestic drilling.

Congress has shown their lack of respect for the very citizens who elected them to represent us. They do not deserve a vacation this year.

Please contact your Congressman/Congresswoman and tell them you won't stand for the continued shenanigans of this Democrat controlled Congress.

Bring them back in...force the vote.

I've never lived anywhere that DOESN'T do curbside trash. In fact, the last 2 places I've lived it's part of the water/sewer company.

LOL, we don't have public water or sewer, either.

Jen, please forgive my ignorance.. but how does minimum wage affect everyone more so than gas prices?

I didn't necessarily mean MORE than gas prices, but just that it doesn't just affect those making minimum wage.

You are lucky......we have 6% sales tax, state income tax, local income tax, property tax that is quite high, plus we have to pay for garbage pickup (mandated and billed by local township,) water, and sewer.
