WASHINGTON – Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton says he's considering a White House run.
President George W. Bush's top arms control official and later the nation's top diplomat at the U.N., Bolton told Fox Business Network on Thursday that he is weighing a White House bid against President Barack Obama in 2012 because he feels national security has faded from the public debate.
"I am thinking about it because I think legitimate issues of national security should be more at the center of the national debate than they have been for the last two years," said Bolton, who also worked for the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations.

Gasp! Every time I've seen him interviewed he stresses the need for wars. That's what we need, a guy whose worldview is driven by the desire to take our country to war. I think "end timers" consider him a cog in the wheel toward their goal/predictions.

What sort of la-la land is that man living in? I'm guessing he doesn't read the newspaper...we're up to our ears in Afghanistan. I'm guessing he doesn't travel by commercial carriers...the TSA is mandating x-rays of a pat-down (sometimes apparently barely short of rape or assault; my kid with the insulin pump got both AND they took every single thing out of her carry on luggage and wouldn't repack it and she almost missed her plane)...and INS agents are roaming the Amtrak aisles in the northeast and arresting people who don't look like citizens.
Big brother is here in the guise of heightened national security...what more does he want. Oh, it's the power...wants to make things even more invasive than they are now. Great.
