regarding emotion.....

sure, it is great...but when it clouds our minds so much that we are offended by other people's comments if they oppose our own opinions....problems start here...

if i am paasionate about something, i am more likely to fight for / over it.

it is important for me (maybe just me) to remain objective in trying to make my decision, so i can't get emotionally attatched to one candidate, because if i am, then if i see someone else criticising him, i may feel the need to fight over it.

right now, if i see someone attacking a candidate, i am able to ignore it.

Actually there are those that felt that he did nothing wrong but since the Dems couldn't get a conviction they had to hit him with something.

One of those people that felt that both McCain and Glenn did nothing wrong, either legally or ethically, was Robert Bennett who was the special counsel charged with conducting the investigation.
