"yeah, and then think about those that are hardly making it, but are being called "rich" and facing tax increases under BO."

Sorry, I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone who is making more than 95% of our country.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for pointing that out! When he said I immediately said that I did not want an uncertified teacher teaching my kids!"

You do realize that in some states private school teachers require no such certification.

No above 200K that doesn't sound like hardly making it to me. You make America sounds like the most expensive place on earth to live in.

'you have proof that NO ONE in your area makes $250k or more?'

This is starting to get petty IMO.

i didn't say america, i said boston.

anywhere in eastern MA

average mortgages cost ~ $2500/month, daycare for 2 = $2400/month

someone making $100k/year would take home roughly $5000/month that would leave zero money for all of lifes expenses (car, food, heat, clothes)

Ughh...I know what you mean about the childcare costs. I'm not working right now just b/c I can't afford childcare. Childcare centers and schools in this area charge $1260-1370 a month for a fulltime infant. My older son's afterschool care through the public school system would cost $260 a month. It's not worth

Here, it's very hard to find a home affordable for a family making $100k.
