thanks for your reply!

I am really surprised to see someone who didn't like Deval, but likes Obama!

they are / were running on the same campaign ideals

even the same tag lines

you must have really looked into the candidates more than most residents.

good for you!

someone else (not on this thread) pointed out to me that DP did a good job standing up for gay rights in terms of marriage....that is good IMO considering he stood for that before election.

I think he would cause trouble, not get in trouble.

Looking at some of his actions while in the Justice - saying its perfectly OK to use race as the determining factor for terminating a teacher (at least because that teacher was white).

I'm sure he's being bandied about for a high job at Justice, and I've even heard his name being floated as a potential Appeals Court (or even Supreme Court) appointment.

To the best of my knowledge, MA was the only state that required police for all flag details.

The "deal" in Woburn was that about 50 off-duty police crowded a work site protesting until the on-duty police came and dispersed them.

so you don't know of civilian flagmen being disrespected?

we have the same laws regarding speeding in construction zones......unfortunately, it seems that

No I didn't know they still had policemen as flagmen... I know people can be jerks to flagmen & all although I didn't know the problem was so extreme in Mass... not so much up here.. at least I haven't really ever experienced it. Most people around here have respect for the road crews.
