The Markets are always going to fluctuate up to and right after an election, but because we have a real economic crisis right now it is interesting to watch.

Just my Humble opinion, but I would said that

I don't know if I should even mention this, but sometimes it feels like your Aunt Samantha in your siggy is wagging her finger at me.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

Umm our economy is faltering one event is not going to make it rebound. Read up on Cause and effect - the market fell because of the bad news in the economy yesterday - the unemployment numbers that were released, the talk of the big US auto industry needing bailing out etc etc etc. By your logic we should be thanking Obama this morning because gas went down another 20 cents at my local station - both notions are preposterous.

The markets are going to continue to fall, and would have regardless of who won the election - even if there had been a bounce this week, it would have been superficial and temporary.
