Okay, this really isn't a laughing matter, but I couldn't figure out what other icon to use. If you haven't heard about this, a quick summary:

Approximately 100 fraudulent voter registration forms were turned in by the NAACP's Voter Fund in Cleveland, Ohio. Apparently, a volunteer had agreed to pay Chad Staton with cocaine for getting voter registration forms filled out. Instead of actually getting people registered, he filled them out himself using names like Mary Poppins and Dick Tracy.

I can smell the lawsuits now, regardless of who wins...

Totally off thread, but with all the remakes in movies going around, I always wished they would do a modern day remake of Mary Poppins. Wouldn't that be the coolest movie to take your kids too?}}}

Ya know, on this board, there hasn't been much we've agreed on (unlike Parenting Issues), but I will say I give 2 thumbs up to a remake of Mary Poppins. Just who do you think should play her?

I don't usually disagree with you but there is a first time for everything.

Nothing put out today could hold a candle to the original Mary Poppins.

I don't know. . .Emma Thompson in the role, keep the script the same, time period the same. . it could have promise.

Now, Sound of Music---no one better touch that!!
