McCain commercial question

I just have to get this off my chest. I keep seeing the same McCain commercial on the TV. I think it is on the DC channel, because MD is definitely not a swing state and will definitely go for Obama. Anyway, in the commercial the main point seems to be that Obama has no 'executive' experience and so I wondered does McCain have executive experience? I didn't think so. Also it keeps saying this will be Obama's first crisis 'in THIS chair' and it shows what is supposed to be the president's chair. But the way the narrator says it is really just sounds like it's the first crisis 'in THIS chair' as if he has had other crises just not in that particular chair. Not sure if you get my point, but I laugh every time I see it. I keep wanting to say 'maybe it's time for a new chair'.

Ah yes, but I think this is what they are referring to as 'executive experience' otherwise I think Obama's experience with the Annenberg foundation may also count as executive experience.
<<2. The chief officer of a government, state, or political division.>>
I made an executive decision just the other day, does that count as executive experience? I use to own my own company - is that executive experience?
OMG - I was soooo going to post the same question.
I would consider leadership in the Navy to be executive experience.
And I would consider being elected President of the Harvard Law Review to be executive experience, too.
Oh the bloody robo-calls.
