Obama raps McCain for ignorance of his own houses

WASHINGTON - John McCain may have created his own housing crisis.

Hours after a report that the Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting didn't know how many homes he and his multimillionaire wife own, Democratic rival Barack Obama launched a national TV ad and a series of campaign stops aimed at portraying McCain as wealthy and out of touch.

With the economy the top issue in the race, Obama sought to turn McCain's gaffe into one of those symbolic moments that stick in voters' minds

"I don't know why I found this so funny but I did. LoL People have either called me katie or Zach on every message board I've been on. My name is Lisa BTW."

Yup, I actually knew that!

Well, I wasn't talking about me, I was talking about someone calling Lisa something that clearly isn't her name.

That's not true today. According to the GAO only 50% of today's youth meet the minimum requirements for military service.

In case you're looking for links:

This one reports several opinions from only 25% would qualify to 1/3 would not:

Sometimes husbands are right.

Just because he had a soldier who could not read doesn't mean the Army across the board has lowered its standards. The Army also has a higher percentage of minorities for whom English is a second nature. They may not be able to read it well but that doesn't mean they're daft.

If he's an infantry officer that might explain some of his experience. What branch does he happen to be?

I'm not implying that your husband hasn't seen some troops of less than average intelligence but I do not agree it's the norm. Not even close.

But since you admit he's an elitist....LOL!

But what people did was to ignore the fact that the mortgage rates could go up every year and did not plan for the possibility.

Actually some people may not see your siggy as there is a feature where it can be turned off to help the boards load faster.
