I think it's a great thing. The will both have to truly fight for the right to be president and hopefully they will start focusing on the topics and not bashing eachother.

"hopefully they will start focusing on the topics and not bashing each other."

I wouldn't count on that. With Rove involved, it's Fears/Queers/Smears all the way to the last hanging chad.

i need to watch Recount again.

I'm kind of bothered by this, not b/c I'm hoping Obama will win, but rather b/c they seem to be attributing the increase in support

No it's not that. It's their ability to recognize change and experience. McCain's pick was a bold and independent move. Remember he is known as a Democrats favorite Republican. He's very appealing to independents and making the choice of Palin just reinforces his independent tendency.

My DH who could not stand Hillary (personally I like her, just don't agree with her policies) admitted that hands down she was the better democratic choice--far more experienced than Senator Obama. He says what his followers want to hear and plays on their general ignorance and understanding of how the economy works. Sorry but it's true.

This site takes all the polls and does an average.

Look over to the right side of the webpage and you can click on Latest Polls and it will list them all.
