Considering that I don't think my governor and the govenor of Alaska likely share more than the R after their name, that surprises me.

Even if he could serve, Arnold was an impossible McCain choice.

" And - although President Carter has moved on to be quite a respectable man, and has done a lot for our country, and deserves our respect - He was FAR from a good President.

Ok, wait....so YOU can count Obama's experience as a "lawyer" and the fact that he was pres of the Harvard Law Review but we don't count Palins experience as a Mayor or the time she served as chair of the conservation commission.

There were so many things...and I am not sure that I have the energy to go through each one inch by inch...especially when I put effort into posting information (like I have several times) and it is largely ignored.

" i should probably base my vote on the whole person, and pick the one who is going to work more toward things i value."

Whew, ok...I was begining to think I was the only one that thought that was most important.....

And there it is again.....whenever asked about why it is ok to elect someone as Pres who, by many peoples assesment, is lacking experience...but NOT ok to have a VP who is lacking in experience.....you throw out the "well, she may have to be Pres at ANY time" card.

And those folks from Alaska really can say that they know their Governor will work toward things that are important to them (well, those that support her anyway).

As for what she has done for the environment and her stance on drilling...I have posted this, I dunno two or three times already and will post it again as I think it bears repeating

Yes, she is FOR drilling in AK (as are most AK's) BUT only for the time that it takes to develop alternatives....and she has made GREAT strides in order to ensure that we ARE looking for alternatives.

Green wanted Palin to add those bills to the bill on the pipeline, she would not.
