The hair plugs are provable, easily varified by your eyesight unlike the many untrue rumors and exaggerations being posted about Palin and Mc Cain.
Fear of losing does not justify such material.
Interesting since she probably would not go along with Obama's plan to handle all problems by talking.
The Falklands
On 2 April 1982, a ruling military junta in Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands, a British overseas territory that Argentina had claimed since an 1830s dispute on the British settlement. Within days Thatcher sent a naval task force to recapture the islands. Despite the huge logistical difficulties the operation was a success, resulting in a wave of patriotic enthusiasm and support for her government, with Newsweek declaring "The Empire Strikes Back". There were also several controversies that arose as a result of the Falklands War and Thatcher's handling of the conflict
"The hair plugs are provable, easily varified by your eyesight unlike the many untrue rumors and exaggerations being posted about Palin and Mc Cain."
And highly relevant!
"Fear of losing does not justify such material."
"... untrue rumors and exaggerations being posted about Palin and Mc Cain"
Almost every single accusation I have read on this board concerning Obama has been either a blatant falsehood or an exaggeration. Worse has been the innuendo.
I've read a few comments in this forum about Palin and McCain that I don't agree with, but I'm not aware of too much that is actually false, but then I'm only current on the group the last few days. The only specific exaggeration I'm aware of regarding Palin is one in her favor. Maybe you could synopsize a few of those falsehoods and exaggerations for those of us coming late to the discussion - to sort of collect them in one place.
I didn't realize that anyone in this forum was repeating that as a fact, but good, there's one. It's also an irrelevant impugning of her character, I think.
The point is, if people on this forum repeated that as if it were fact, then here we have a clear case of a falsehood or exaggeration about McCain being perpetuated here. (Also, I would say that DK's point is utterly irrelevant and even dumb, even if it were true.)
There have been so many threads about McCain being a racist and visiting violent terrorists that I must have just missed this one.
