"The fact is - the conservatives are voting for her inexperience and the liberals are voting for Obama's. "

Wrong. Conservatives are voting for MC CAIN'S experience, the liberals are STILL voting for Obama's lack thereof.

Actually, the investigation isn't closed at this point....however, I think the investigation is more of a formality and is being used more to clear her name.

Yes, she's been a governor and a mayor!

McCain just went up a few notches for me with this pick. It reinforces his guts and independent thinking. I also have to say the fact that both he and his VP pick have children currently serving in the armed forces tells me a lot.

For me, her wish to teach religion in science class is enough of a red flag. She appears to be fond of the second amendment but not fond of the first.***

ITA! Creationism is a religious viewpoint, not a science class... this drives me CRAZY! I cannot tell you how much this drives me crazy, so we won't even go towards the NRA, big oil and other issues this woman had. YIKES!

***Should McCain/Palin win the election, McCain is at the top of the ticket, not Mrs. Palin. Secondly, should Sen. McCain become ill, or for some reason could not finish out his term, the Democrats control Congress. Should then President Palin, try to get legislation through the Democrats don't like, they have only to shelve the bill, or stop debate just as Sen. Pelosi has done with the offshore oil drilling issue. ***

Umm, okay. I don't like him either...btw I knew that before you so generously enlightened me... But we were discussing the VP choice. Did you know that it is Speaker of the House Pelosi, who btw is third in line for the presidency, she is not, nor has she ever been a senator.
