This is really in response to the person who posted that statement that Obama was not a citizen and "hoped it would get people's attention"... if there is anyone who needs to be concerned about qualifying as a natural-born U.S. citizen, it would be Senator McCain.

Fortunately the lupron hasn't caused the dreaded headaches...just the hot flashes. I start the progesterone either right before or right after the transfer, I'm not sure when, but my box of meds did include the progesterone in oil.

Ice pack before to numb the area (a little at least( and a heating pad after to prevent bruising.

The progesterone is usually right before and up to about 12 weeks gest. It is in oil form and that's why the needle is so big. Don't get the med needle confused with the injection needle because that would hurt like heck.

I have 2 different needles for the estrogen too. Am I supposed to use the bigger one to draw the drug, then the smaller one to inject....or can I just use the smaller one and ignore the larger one?

We had that happen to us last year when it was in the upper 90's....I feel so bad for you!

Whew...that was pretty easy actually! :) (After dh and I nearly passed out at the 22g needle!)
