I just believe that it is wrong and the Judge should be dis-barred :(

Judges make bad decisions all the time. It's why we have Appellate Courts.

What an odd comment.....incompetency is OK because that's what we have appellate courts for? I wonder how that works in the bad teacher industry?

Point is that "bad" equals lots more expense to the people who pay taxes... as well as to the students, defendants and victims they are supposed to be serving.

I think you'll probably not find it elsewhere, because the appeals court has decided it, plus it was an old article (yesterday's news), and it appears that the case is closed. The legal system worked. As for the original judge, I'd guess he's probably learned a lesson. The laws of the US are the laws of the US. If a judge rules against such laws, the judge will be overruled by a higher court. I don't think he can be disbarred for a bad ruling, but maybe Fox can gin up some other controversy for the judge that would lead to disbarment.

Wow, not sure where you got the idea that I thought incompetency was okay. Interesting how you try to make a "bad teacher" connection as a personal insult.

My point is that our system works just fine...particularly since there was an undercurrent in that whole uproar over that judge where people think Sharia law is going to happen in the U.S. It simply cannot with the system we have and our Constitution.

Really, where did you hear/see that?

Look at the date of your article. This was settled a month ago or more by the appeals court. Is there more?

No...no need waiting for me. I was on the phone being talked to by Sarah Palin. Well...it sounded like her. Sheesh....I'll be glad when the primaries are over. My DH is a Republican, so we've had robocalls for the last week. Worse, my husband isn't even voting after all we've been through.
