I was wondering that too.. since I had a m/c it was labeled by the Doctor "Missed abortion" and all the Insurance company saw was the word "Abortion" and said they wouldn't cover the D&C.


My sister works at Hopkins.. I should ask her if she knows what the deal is

Thanks.. it really hurt me to see that written that way.. almost as if I elected to abort my baby. Clueless people working with claims.. thankfully, my DH made all the phone calls and straightened it out.
