Military families support Obama

Veterans and military families received a lot of praise and attention at the recent Democratic National Convention, and for good reason.
After six years of war on two different fronts, perhaps no group of citizens is more directly affected by the decisions and judgment of this administration. Soldiers and Marines in core infantry units are in their second or third deployments, with others heading out for their fourth, fifth or sixth. Our military families are increasingly suffering from their own combat stress, having borne the burden of current conflicts with little shared sacrifice or attention.

But also being quite close to the military community I can also say most the larger majority are McCain supporters. Maybe it's because they're more aware of the true nature of the "threat" than your average Joe Citizen.
So are you implying that members of the military community who vote for Obama are unaware or don't take our nation's security serously?

Thanks, that was interesting. I know my husband, and many of his fellow soldiers, believe that we need diplomacy coming from the white house rather than more aggression. Bush has done a good job of making the US look like a bully and we as voters need to show that we don't want that kind of leadership anymore.

Read it again. What I implied was that members of the military are more in-tune with the nature of the threat than your average citizen.
Not all mind you--but in general.
I understand your comment that members of the military are more "in-tune with the nature of the threat" but you also said that that's why you believe "

I don't care what we look like - bully or not - someone comes in and does to our country what happened on 911, I'd bully them too.
What people DON'T even like to talk about is the fact that the problems in Iraq started LONG before Bush was even in office. Maybe if Clinton had handled things differently while he was in office, Bush wouldn't have had to be responsible to clean up his mess.

But we're not "bullying" the right people.
I agree - the media is VERY biased at showing all of the positive improvements we've made over there and in Afganistan - they want you to only see the horror. Typical.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. What does that have to do with what we were discussing?
