More Obama Double Talk

Obama alleges McCain is guilty of old political "swift boat" politics:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/10/campaign.wrap/index.html

In the same article, it goes on to say:

Earlier Wednesday, Obama's campaign announced it was launching "Alaska Mythbusters," a group of Alaskans that the campaign says will "set the record straight" about Palin.

Who is trying to "swift boat".

I believe the same article stated that Obama is launching the Alaska Mythbusters in response to McCain's Palin Truth Squad.

The same person who did the Jogn Kerry swiftboat ads is working with the McCain camp.....so no big suprise the tone is starting to sound familiar.

I went into this election as an Independent and was originally intrigued by McCain's reputation as a "maverick" and by his military service. I really wanted to like him but the closer and closer we get to the election, the more and more he looks like some desperate politician playing that same old political game. As far as Obama "forgetting who he's running against", Obama has no choice but to address Palin b/c McCain is using her as a shield.

Don't see any examples of "double talk" there.
Palin's record has been and is being greatly exaggerated and misrepresented by republicans. While it's true that most republicans can justify this in their own consciences, many independents are going to balk at it.

"Apply that all the desperate posts trying to tear down Palin."
Telling the truth about lies and exaggerations is not "tearing down."

Great points heavenly - I was looking forward to the RNC, then when McCain announced his pick I was furious.

"There sure seems to be a lot of fear over Sarah Palin."
Eye-rolling is not indicative of fear.

The two things were discussed separately, not linked in the article, so it appears Obama's camp is sending a smear group to Alaska.

Obama also said and it appears his constituants agree that their arguement will continue to be that McCain is Bush.

Are you saying Obama has no choice but to say things like:

"She has 5 kids"?
