Obama alleges McCain is guilty of old political "swift boat" politics:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/10/campaign.wrap/index.html

In the same article, it goes on to say:

Earlier Wednesday, Obama's campaign announced it was launching "Alaska Mythbusters," a group of Alaskans that the campaign says will "set the record straight" about Palin.

Who is trying to "swift boat".

Mc Cain made that statement that he voted with Bush 90% of the time in May 2003.....not all the time.

so the 90% is -

- not based on a factual analysis of his voting record, which would tell the truth about his level of agreement
- instead, a self-description of McCain which was meant to prove his loyalty to Bush
- thus while it is not factual on the basis of behavior, it is factual on the basis of his desire to be loyal to Bush 5 years ago

does that mean we kick it under the rug and say it doesn't matter? does that mean we let the candidates say and do one thing 5 years ago, but then ignore it when they want to be seen as a Maverick today?

does that mean the Ayers thing can be ignored since it happened 13 years ago and Obama never made any statements about his loyalty to Ayers?

and where is the best place to begin a tally of how many times McCain agreed with Bush?

Start out tat the beginning......or better yet....just include that last little bit of the fact....that it was only 5 years ago in the month of May.

From what I've read, Weinstein stated that Palin supported the bridge until the uproar about that particular earmark.

Old enemies as detractors especially toward a reformer type politician is par for the course.

The only thing your post reflected was that some people like Palin.

This whole discussion only proves some people, who have reason to resent her, don't like her.
