This isn't along the lines of some of our regular debates but I was curious what others thought about this. Btw, I know some may have found it vulgar but I must say, I loved the book!

NEW YORK — William Shatner, of all people, stands at the center of television's latest moral battleground.

My kids are older now so it's not really a concern for me - they don't really watch television anyway. If they were younger it wouldn't be a show I would let them watch - not really a fan of inappropriate language/content on television.

You know, it wouldn't be all that difficult to change the name of the show to "Stuff My Dad Says." That said, if my children were old enough to watch the program (it was age appropriate), I wouldn't care if the *bleep* was in the title.

I have young children and it doesn't bother me.

It wouldn't bother me, nor would it bother me for my child to hear it. It is a common enough expression.

But I have to say this gave me pause in the article:

"'Go take a (bleep), you'll feel better.' You say that to your kids. "

Uhm, no, I do not say that to my kid or anyone else. If I use an expletive, and I do quite often, it is as an expletive, for emphasis, not as a regular way of addressing those near and dear to me.

Not for the dad that inspired the show (and the twitter feed & book). Just about every other word was an expletive and immature as I may seem to admit this, it was freakin' hilarious.

I don't have a problem with it being on TV.
