Did you miss the part about Bill Clinton being the hero of these type actions? What about the part about Jimmy Carter? Or the part about "all" presidents having done this?
If you can talk in detail as to the pros and cons of the specific items he's trying to get taken care of then the article isn't anything more than another obvious biased bunch of George Bush bashing.
Now I get to agree with you! I dislike nearly everything he's done, but every President does this. We could debate the types of things he's going to push through, but the fact that he is pushing something through is old news. They all do it.
I agree that the name calling isn't necessary as I believe his record speaks for itself -- and not in a good way. However, I'm not really the best person in the world to chastise someone else for saying disparaging things about Pres. Bush because I am definitely guilty of that as well. I personally don't object to someone saying disparaging things about those in public office. Now, if name calling is all they have, without some sort of actual criticism of the job performance, I won't pay them any attention. But if my SO, an Iraq
I agree with this! I have criticized Bush for years, but I didn't do it BEFORE he took office. Infact - I actually thought he did a pretty good job right after 9/11, and he'd been in office almost a year then! (He screwed that all to hell, but that's a different story).
It seems a bit uninformed and stupid to be Obama-bashing when we're still 2 months from inauguration day. Wait until he screws up first.
What's also amazing to me is that the same people that are squeaking about Obama and how much they hate him (calling him everything from a terrorist to a Marxist - and some even going so far as to hint that it would be a good thing if he were assassinated) are the same people who burned the Dixie Chix CD's when they said something INCREDIBLY MILD about Bush after he'd started an illegal war and been in office a while. All they said is that they were ashamed to come from the same state as him and yet they were worthy of censorship and hatred in this country, but yet they now have no problem Obama-bashing to a degree that truly reflects hatred.

Frankly I'm glad he's still doing his job.
Thank you for saying this :)

Weird double standard.
