Iran has its nutcases, those fools, mostly in positions of zero or little authority, who mouth off about closing the Straight of Hormuz.
On our 'side' we have idiots running around - for president no less - virtually singing McCain's Bomb Iran song. Last night, Chris Matthews looked quite troubled as he spoke of Santorum being 'excited' by the prospect of war with Iraq.
I'm not sure how we've reached the point where people claiming to be religious guides of morality start advocating war, to the point they salivate over the prospect of killing other human beings. Despite their best efforts to claim otherwise, there are those who use Islam as an excuse for killing, and there are Christians here who embrace the same nonsense, believing it somehow marches them closer to Rapture. While Santorum is Catholic, he seems to have sipped from the same rancid pot of hallucinogenic tea.
In April of 2002, I warned in iV and elsewhere Bush intended to mix it up in Iraq. Now it seems, it isn't the president, its nutcases in Iran and here who somehow spoil for a fight.
