Obama and voter registration fraud

In a different thread, with a disgustingly hate filled topic, a poster said that a leader has a responsibility to discourage undesirable behaviors that his/her supporters are participating in. Why then hasn't Obama told his supporters, ACORN for example, to stop their fraudulent voter registration activity. I would assume based on some of the comments regarding Palin that the democrats on this board would feel strongly that Obama is guilty of voter registration fraud for not discouraging the illegal activities of his supporters.

Interesting, where are all the liberals with all their high morals and ethics regarding a candidate's accountability for their supporters' behavior.

wow.... hard to believe you actually said that on a board that it supposed to be civil and respectful. Don't you think this is a tad bit inflammatory? Why would any democrats want to be in this argument when they have already been accused and judged in this way? Is this a good way to promote discussion?

Perhaps we should stick to discussing the actual issues and not making broad and sweeping accusations that can, and have been applied to BOTH parties.

personally I didn't pay much mind to ACORN as I didn't realize how large the program and scandal is. I will certainly look into it and may rejoin the discussion once I have become educated on the issue.

I just thought it was probably about the republicans....as they stole the election in 2000.

That is false, and I'm surprised that some are still attempting to believe it.

Oh my, how do people think this way... Why would Obama have a need to say that regarding voter reg. fraud?

It's the stuff that happen lately at Republican rallies, etc. that needs to be addressed because it is happening right next to them in their earshot.

Because there is no 'Fraud policy' in Acorn. There's also no voter fraud when no one has cast a vote.

Let's not even get into the conversation of what ones candidate's supporters are doing lately.
