Awww come on, even at it's worst it could only be interpreted as a "Hate WHITE America" sermon.

The thing is.. with this article?
It's really one reporter saying he was there when Obama was there. So it's just his word anyway.

I honestly think that man (Wright) is preaching hatred over suppression.

The other thing is, I know as a Catholic, I've sat through many a sermon that I don't personally agree with. (Frankly, I've sat through many I haven't been able to follow at all, priests are notoriously bad homilists)

No way! Making excuses for Obama for this one? It's "only" a hate whites sermon--huh? You don't have a problem with that?

What if Hillary attended a sermon that was "Only" about hating blacks? Would that be excusable?

Can we trust a president with ties like this? No way. Obama is ruined. He will never win the general even if he manages to scrape through the Dem primary.

This issue will get bigger and bigger and bigger. He is going to get derailed over it.

I think the difference is in the message...

There's quite a difference between Wright's message and your typical minister/priest/whatever...

God is not about hate, period. And besides that, we're not running for President, Obama is. And unfortunately for him (and anyone else that runs), that makes a difference in EVERYTHING...like it or not.

Yeah, I have seen those reports too.

I guess I am up in arms a bit. I am having a hard time deciding who really I should vote for. I have never voted Democratic, but I am leaning toward Hillary.

I have listened to Obama, and he does instill hope for better things; but I am cynical about how much change and what kind of change he could really bring to this country. Plus, he is so new to the scene, what do we really know about him?

I am dead set again the Iraq war and always have been, so that issue is causing me problems with McCain.

With Clinton, while I am so hoping that someone will come up with a solution to the health insurance crisis in this country (I am one of the millions of uninsured), I don't think free health insurance for everyone would be a solution. I am just hoping to get a chance to buy affordable insurance.

Arrgggg. It's a tough choice these days.

>>Addressing the Iraq war, Wright thundered, “Young African-American men” were “dying for nothing.” The “illegal war,” he shouted, was “based on Bush’s lies” and is being “fought for oil money.”<<
