Well thank you.

I am trying to understand everyone's view here, because honestly, I don't know who to vote for yet.

I had listened to Obama, and was just looking at his positions, but now I am just so turned off by his relationship with that preacher.

I joined I village just to ask you and everyone on this board to please get your facts straight. William Kristol reported and then retracted (albeit) in much smaller print, about the Newsmax report that Obama was in his church for wright's speech, HE WAS NOT! He was in FLa at the time. If you do nothing else stop spreading wrong information-you should all take your responsibility to be informed much more seriously. Did anyone of you listen to Obama's speech addressing the issue of his pastor in particular and race relations in America in general? Can anyone dispute the things he said, and please don't reply if you didn't listen to the whole speech or read it. I no more want a book review from someone who doesn't read than I want comments about something people are unwilling to learn about. Smarten up ladies! you owe it to your daughters and all women! Thank you, Leslie p.s. spread the TRUTH NOT LIES!

Well, that was a rather rude post.

Yes, I've read the transcript AND I watched the speech.

Yes, we know the report that Obama was actually at the sermon was retracted.

Hello, I'm not sure I understand what was rude about my post-could you please explain? Is it not fair to point out that other people will read and believe almost anything? Do you not have an obligation to note also that this was a false report? Would you rather people make their way to the polls with false information? Was it rude to use the word ladies, or was it the phrase smarten up? The suggestion that we owe something to our daughters? I don't get it, did I use profanity what, please advise. Thank you, Leslie

I am sorry, that was rather harsh of me to say the post was rude. We did point out like in the second or third post that Obama was not at the sermons in question.

I was personally insulted when you told me to smarten up. But I was rude to say you were rude. You weren't really.

I'd like you to continue to post here. I find these debates extremely informational, and I have certainly learned a lot. If you are interested in politics, you will like it here.

Actually it was in posts 7-9 we discussed that he wasn't even there.
