"Brothers and sisters," Farrakhan said, "Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way."
""Would God allow Barack to be president of a country that has been so racist, so evil in its treatment of Hispanics, native Americans, blacks?" he asked. "Would God do something like that? Yeah. Of course he would. That's to show you that the stone that the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner. This is a sign to you. It's the time of our rise. It's the time that we should take our place. The future is all about you."
Herald - very different from saying he IS the messiah. Believe me, I am no supporter of Farrakhan, but it is clear to me that what he is talking about is the symbolic meaning of having a black president - a sign that times have changed from what they were. I can agree with that - never thought I'd agree with something that man said, but there you go.
Regardless, 1 reference from Farrakhan does not mean that all/most/even some liberals think Obama is the messiah, and I am still tired of hearing from the right-wing.
I'm not worried about the Bradley Effect because of the unprecedented numbers of individual donations made to Obama's campaign, even in these tough times.

LOL, no doubt you have.
OK, I googled it to find the reference. Here it is - the best I could do was a decidedly right wing site (dont hold it against me :)
