WASHINGTON (June 17) - Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama opens the general election campaign with a narrow lead over Republican John McCain but the two score near even among independent voters, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, Obama leads McCain by 48 percent to 42 percent among all adults, while McCain has picked up support from independents who could be key to deciding the November election.

Let me see if I have this right.

I didn't post at all in that thread, you've not the slightest idea if I ever read a single post in that thread.

And maybe reading comprehension course would serve you well. Where did I say you AGREE with it?

>>Where did I say you AGREE with it?<<

right here:

>>And you didn't seem to mind the attack the accuracy of phone polls was getting when it was McCain at stake judging by your silence on it then.<<

Of course perhaps you don't think I agree with it, in which case bringing it up in reference to my post was simply....meaningless fluff.

I'm still waiting to hear how you can ascribe any position to me on a thread in which I didn't particulate, and for you all you know never even read. Particularly amusing is you ascribing a position based on this bit of illogic directly at odds with the position I actually DID state.

I NEVER ascribed YOU to it...I said *WE* (as in the general we, here on this board, the board is not, never was YOU) discussed the subject here. I said that it was interesting that IN THIS THREAD a phone poll was used by the very person who said phone polls were meaningless, and how interesting it was that phone polls were meaningless when it showed that McCain was trusted more...but somehow they are more worthy when they are about Obama.

The quote you are using not once did I say you AGREE with it, I said "And you didn't seem to mind.." I'm sorry if you can't see the difference and just prefer to keep the argument going.
