I know it is endlessly brought up how Obama is going to cut taxes for 95% of working families.

"why are people ok with a trickle up theory when they aren't ok with a trickle down theory?"

We've been waiting for it to trickle down since Regan..perhaps you can see why we doubt it works.

One of the posters brought up a very good point, how hard will it be to get an out of state insurance to pay?

Please read carefully what I said. I never said the business should pay third-world wages.

At the end of the day, a business is a business. Why do people go into business? TO MAKE MONEY. People dont' go into business to help people. That's would be a charity, not a business.

Businesses move wherever they can get the best value for their money. Taxes are a major consideration in that. SO are wages. We can have businesses that stay and are successful if we have high wages, but only if the taxes are low. IF we have both high taxes and high wages, the only businesses that would stay would be businesses run by idiots.

If we have high taxes and high wages, there will be no jobs. It's not even economics. It's just common sense.

Exactly. My hubby has been DXd with Bipolar.. I highly doubt any of those plans would accept us b/c of that fact. :o/ I love the part of Obama's plan that says they CANNOT deny based on preexisting and that they MUST cover mental just as they do physical.

You've not seen a post in any of these threads where the poor are called "unworthy" or "lazy"?

I stand by what I said...no one I have heard of chooses to make less so they can get a bigger tax refund. I have never heard of such logic...if one can even call it that.

that is fine, i never said that you had heard of it, i said that i know peple that this stragey has benefitted

One check during the year doesn't make up for all the rest of the time of not having much

it does if you (they) can budget it.....the end result is more money per year...it doesn't matter what month it came in.
