I know it is endlessly brought up how Obama is going to cut taxes for 95% of working families.

You just very well might feel differently if you ever fell on hard times. Judging from what you have said you have never had that problem so why SHOULD you ever care about anyone else? Yours is a selfish position. You have constantly lumped everyone who gets EIC together so far as to say my family (while we were active duty USAF even which you ignored the FIRST time I said it) and drug dealers who live at home & don't work are all the same to you. Pardon me if you lost any of the respect I may have had for you. Are you a Christian? If so did you skip the part where Jesus said:
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

But, why would privatizing social security be so bad? Maybe you don't realize the huge amounts of money that Americans shovel into that program every year. I know how much because my husband works for an employer who doesn't do social security and his retirement is fully privatized. His employer puts an amount equal to what would have been handed over to social security into a retirement account for him. The amount of money going into that account every year is VERY substantial Assuming a 6 percent growth, with his current salary, after 20 years he'd have over 1.3 million dollars in there- and he makes slightly less than 50k. Imagine what he'd have after a usual 45 years in the workforce, and again, this is not including any additional retirement accounts he might do on his own, this is just from saving and investing the amount that would usually be collected as social security tax. (And it's worth pointing out that with a privatized retirement, there is additional freedom to spend that money- our own money- in the way that we deem fit without being given a predetermined monthly amount).

Everyone has to pay into social security even if the company decides to do private investments like 401ks.

can you please be more specific when you say "more of the burden"?
because as it is currently, the top 5% pays 60% of the tax burden....
so the other 95% pays only 40%

Yep, those generalizations...
Here's what I don't get.
