Companies don't have to offer anything. A couple hundred bucks a month is nothing compared to what we would pay for the new plans that HC law has planned. Birth control is not expensive and many plans do offer it. If a person is wanting it that bad they can choose a plan that better suits them. We don't have everything covered we would want in our plans, but that is what it is. Nice to haves arent always included.
There isn't any movement for contraception to be "free". The question is whether a company can request that it not be covered through the health insurance plan it offers. Our health insurance plan costs hundreds of dollars a month, some of it paid by the employer (as a perk of the job), some paid by us. There isn't any reason (and I call BS on the "moral" argument, considering the track record of the organization in question) to refuse to offer basic reproductive health care, and not, I'm not talking about abortion...I'm talking about health care that makes abortion less common.
A senator here in Georgia compared women to cattle. Please show me someone from the left trying to make a woman carry her dead baby till she goes into labor, causing women to fight for birth control (even though it's a lot cheaper than having a child, and it keeps people from having kids before they are ready), or telling women they have to undergo ultra sounds on a non-viable pregnancy. Let's twist the knife a little harder on someone already going through h@ll.
If he's not the face of the conservatives, then please tell me why any GOP politician who has dared to criticize Limbaugh quickly crawls back and kisses his butt in apology?
Additionally, Rush is on the regular radio, accessible by anyone with a radio. Maher and Stern are not...people have to actually pay to listen to them. I'm not sure why you keep trying to deflect to other people in defense of Limbaugh.

Birth control used to be very expensive. If the new rules hold up then it will be free.
"Resist, we much. We must, and we much. About that, be committed."
All of those "men" are pretty disgusting.
A jerk is a jerk, his party is irrelavant. What Rush did was not right and what Mahr did wasn't right either.
