I agree with you. I've always wondered, if the Iraqis wanted the US there so badly, then why were they fighting you?

I think many people confuse the treatement of women in Afghanistan under Taliban rule with Iraq.

If your company closes down, it likely won't be because of Obama or McCain, the US economy is in very serious trouble and NEITHER Presidential candidate has a workable, realistic plan to address it. If you're really that concerned, you should be looking for a new job, socking some more money away in savings, paying down your mortgage as fast as you can and protecting yourself and your family from potential hardship.

It's going to get worse before it gets better, regardless of who wins the election today.

The entire cause of the economic meltdown goes so much deeper than Alan Greenspan (although he certainly has a hand in it.) What I don't understand is this:

Why is it SO important to blame one political party for this situation? It's been building for DECADES, through periods of both Democratic and Roublican leadership. Bush I and II, Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon...every one of those administrations has some culpability. Your country has been printing worthless money that is backed by nothing debt for decades, you've built an entire economy based on consumption instead of production and several other countries have replaced you as a leaders in manufacturing - eventually it was all going to come tumbling down.

Are you kidding me? What is your point? I have not seen one person dispute this, but I have you know...a whole crowd of whites are going to vote for the first time ever, simply because BO is running and guess what...he is a black man. SO friggin' what. I have you know, the black vote ALONE could not win it for Obama...there are many 'races' out there that will vote for him. Get over it would ya!

I will aplogize in advance. Your statement is so off base. How many abortions has Dr. Obama done? How many abortions has his wife had? Just because he thinks each woman should have a choice doesn't make him "king of all abortions'.

So...you really do think that everyone who is not republican is on welfare and everyone who is poor is on welfare and taking what is not theirs. Thank you for clarifying.
