Here he goes again..........

According to Rush, the only reason Oprah and Obama are popular & successful, is because they are black. Never mind that they both came from nothing and made something of themselves.

Rush is only successful, because

I think Oprah worked very long and hard for her success. Shame on Limbaugh for being such a spoiled sport about her success. During the 2008 campaign season, Geraldine Ferraro made the same accusations about Obama's success.

In her case, I think it was a case of sour grapes. In Limbaugh's case, I think his motivation is somewhat different.

Right. Because everyone knows the easiest path to the presidency in this country is to be a black man.

It's like the people who say that he "changed" his name to Barack to sound more exotic. Because if there's one thing this country loves it's people with Arabic names.

Right, they succeeded BECAUSE they are black, not because they worked hard and succeded IN SPITE of the roadblocks that minorities in this country still face. Unreal. Every time I hear him speak I have to wonder if he REALLY believes what he says or if he just has a very acute sense of who is audience is and the opinions they may hold. It is so hard to even take this kind of talk seriously unless you're really out there.

It's hard to tell, he does bigotry so well. Like it's natural to him.

Take his most recent wedding for example, (I think it was his 4th or 5th? Can't keep up with it) Anyway.... he made a big deal out of telling everyone that he had a black minister and a gay performer at his wedding. The fact that one needs to point those things out, tells me, that he did it for show.

He's an entertainer who's most commodity is his big mouth, who is losing ground if he isn't saying something outrageous enough to keep the masses tuned in, listening to him drone on about Obama, and the fabulous results Rush and his staff get everytime he uses Zicam.

Remember that Rush used to be the head buffalo on the lonesome plain.

LOL! Haven't listened yet but why do I suspect this is yet another instance of something being taken out of context? I will have to check it out and see if I change my mind! I'll let you know.
