Well, I think she has him on tape, her charges of what he said are way too specific for them NOT be taped! BUT....it sounds like she may have been out to get him.... why did she return to work for him if he was (is) such a pig?? We may never know....

Disclaimer: I never have liked O'Reilly....

I believe in holding fast to the concept of considering everyone innocent until proven guilty and have only deviated from this twice in my lifetime (with Osama Bin Laden in the early days after 9/11 when he denied all involvement - and with the Scott Peterson case. God forgie me, but that man killed his wife & son - I know it in my BONES, you know?). I'll hold to that.

From my initial read, it sounds as though there is potential merit in both suits. She sounds as though she felt she was being harrassed IF he said those things, and he certainly has an extortion case against her IF she did shake him down for $60 million to avoid a public lawsuit.

I'm sorry, I fail to see the humor in this. If it is true, I hope he pays for it. Sexual harrassment is very common in the workplace. I experienced it three different times in my teens. One case resulted in the man getting fired because he actually pulled my shirt almost off and there were witnesses. When I was 16 and cornered and propositioned. I got in the guy's face and told him he made me sick and he better back off. Another time, the guy got away scott free. He was old enough to be my father, it's disgusting. No woman should have to deal with that kind of treatment.~Lisa

I dunno - if its NOT true I would think it is motivated by money more so than by politics ... although the TIMING is interesting.

We won't ever know the truth I am sure.

I don't expect perfection in people but I do expect them to take responsibility when they make mistakes

You can't be set up if you avoid stupid behavior to begin with. If O'Reily stands for conservative values then he has no business harrassing women sexually. This is the antithesis of values. *Disclaimer* I believe in onnocence until proven guilty but sexual harrassment is very difficult to prove unless there is a witness.

Having experienced sexual harrassment several times myself, people need to know how intimidating it is when you need the job and have a boss that is treating you like that. It's awful!~Lisa
