Our Bush/Cheney sign was spray painted last night.....but probably early this morning (the paint was still wet at 8 AM).

We have a lot of that kind of stuff happening locally -- with local elections.

I totally agree. We don't have any signs in our yard, but this area is just behaving like a bunch of children from both sides of the political campaign.

I'm sorry to hear this. It's despicable that you can't express your support for your candidate w/o being attacked. I'm supporting Kerry and I've been personally attacked for my bumper sticker with my 3 1/2 YO daughter with me. She was very scared when someone started shouting at me. It's wrong. I'm most sorry that it upset your kids....not a good example of a democracy that is for sure.

I wonder how many Kerry signs get vandalized. I can bet not many, because Reps have some class.

In my area, sign vandalizing is about 50/50 - both Kerry and Bush signs being vandalized.

Well I can tell you that here in Washington State, we have one of the Kerry campain offices being vandalized almost nightly. So you Reps don't have that much class.

Now in my sick little mind I always carry my imag. paint gun (don't really have one) and almost daily I pretend to shoot at the W fans and University of Washington stickers too (don't like them any better) I have never personally touch someones vechile or yard--I just shack my head at them is all.

some of your comments have really made me mad, this one especially. Open your eyes, this happens on both sides. Is it classy to attack a mans service to this country, when he put his life on the line for all Americans, (the ultimate service and sacrifice)????? and I'm not just talking about the attacks on Kerry.

You need to keep a more open mind. There are radicals on both sides...but as someone else said, luckily there are many of us who respect each others choices whether we agree or not.

I am so sorry this happened to you. We know what you are feeling right now. We are on our third BUSH/CHENEY sign in our yard right now. The first one was destroyed with rocks thrown through it. While attending my Aunt's funeral this week, the second sign was STOLEN from our yard on Thursday night. So, now we are on Sign #3. If this one is also destroyed or taken, I'm breaking out the Christmas lights and creating a huge "W" in my front lawn.

Sigh - if only TOLERANCE extended to everyone, including those
