in a way, i prefer it - except for the "oh you forgot this part and you will now be penalized" option in April.

it keeps me on my toes financially. it reminds me of my tax obligation regularly.

but for most people, it would be a pain to write a check every three months.

I missed this film the first time but won't miss it again. If you really want to know what liberal women did for you.

How so?

She's not a legislator, and she's not a supreme court justice. Roe v. Wade would have to be overturned by the Supreme Court, and there's nothing on a Writ of Cert that challenges it yet.

What are you afraid she'll do?

afraid she and McCain will follow the desires of a faction of their constituents in the selection of the next Supreme Court judges who do have the power to overturn Roe v. Wade.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/1576/Abortion.aspx

the responses have been consistent over the past 30 years. as of 2008 May 8:

Legal under any circumstances: 28%
Legal only under certain circumstances: 54%
Illegal in all circumstances: 17%
No opinion: 2%

i don't want 2 people out of 10 making a decision about my personal life.

I'm afraid she will appoint the Supreme Court Justice that casts the vote to overturn Roe V. Wade.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

Not rich. I'm educated.

The rich want you to vote for Mr. McCain, because they want to be richer, and me poorer. And they don't want me to be educated, because then I might notice that some of them have become very very rich on a pointless war that has pushed our country to the verge of bankruptcy.

I want my taxes to be used to make our country better for all.

I'm proud to be a liberal. Slavery would have persisted longer without that liberal named Abraham Lincoln. Liberals have a long and illustrious history of making our country a better place to live.

First of all, Sarah Palin can't appoint a Supreme Court justice--she's on the ticket as VICE president, remember?

So it seems what you're afraid of is the following very specific series of events taking place in the next 4 years:

1. John McCain is elected;
2. John McCain dies;
3. Sarah Palin is president;
4. One or more Supreme Court Justices dies or retires;
5. A pro-life judicial activist hellbent on reversing Roe v. Wade and abolishing the right to abortion in the US will be appointed by Sarah Palin;
6. This judge will be confirmed by the current Democratic Congress, or a future Republican Congress;
7. Roe v. Wade will be challenged in a lower court;
8. The decision will be appealed and arrive on Writ before the Supreme Court;
9. The facts will be such that the case actually merits review by the Supreme Court;
10. The majority of justices agree to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the issue of a woman's right to obtain an abortion to the states to decide;
and
11. Every one of the 50 states will immediately pass emergency legislation or executive orders to prohibit all abortion under all circumstances.

Because THAT is the ONLY way you and your daughter will LOSE YOUR RIGHT to kill your unborn baby.

Am I understanding your concern, and did you realize that ALL THAT would have to happen in order for your existing rights to be eliminated?
