"And who doesn't have the ACCESS to BUY that coverage now? Are you only referring to those with chronic illnesses, etc., or your normal average every day citizen whose employer doesn't offer coverage?"

I believe I said EVERYONE.

What's up with the snobbiness, seriously? I can deal with it if it really makes you feel smarter and tougher - but you'll probably be able to debate with others on a more mature level without acting like a 16 year old debating why her best friend shouldn't date the guy down the street...

Back to my point.

I have read it http://www.barackobama.com/issues/healthcare/

I'm all about the plan in theory - but I still don't see HOW he plans on doing it. If you know so much about it, please share, I'm open for any information you can give.

Nevermind: Sounds nice...where will these billions of dollars come from?

Q. How much will it cost us taxpayers?

A. The Obama plan will cost between $50-65 billion a year when fully phased in.

Q. How will we pay for the Obama plan?

A. The Obama plan will realize tremendous savings within the health care system to help

finance the plan. The additional revenue needed to fund the up-front investments in

technology and to help people who cannot afford health insurance is more than covered

by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire for people making more than $250,000 per year,

as they are scheduled to do.

Can you point out where? Seriously, I'd love you to quote me on how I"ve treated you like crap? If you consider standing up for myself with your snobbiness "treating you like crap" - I can't apologize for that. (b/c honestly? The last of my intentions are to treat anyone like crap - I don't even KNOW you, I've posted on this particular forum for 2 days...if you think I have treated you like "crap" - I do sincerely apologize, it's something I don't get told often nor is it my intention to do so)

WAsn't it just yesterday I pointed out the same thing, and you actually apologized? How was I in the wrong?

My point - Honestly if you could debate maturely without the sarcasm nonsense, maybe you'd get better debate out of others.

While a lot of statements, including Obama's own, focus on these increased revenues from a roll back of the Bush tax cuts, I believe that he is also factoring in the cost savings that will result from a phased troop withdrawl.
