people who want to vote on issues will want to hear her talk about her stance. people who want to vote on experience will want to hear her defend her record. but those are both educated voters - and I don't perceive those to be the majority.
people who want to vote on their "gut feelings" about personality and perceptions of character (based on the stories we are fed) will not care about interviews and will be satisfied with prepared speeches given in controlled environments. they have already made up their minds - and vilifying the press will only make Palin seem to have more character as the victim.
I for one am not looking forward to the next 60 or so days of reading between the lines and trying to figure out the political motives of the reporters.
