"yet again the direct obama vs palin comparison. makes NO sense." Of course it makes sense. Both McCain and Biden have decades of experience in politics. We know where they stand on issues. We know how they think. Obama and Palin are newcomers on the national stage. Obama has spoken a LOT on where he stands on the issues, even if his experience is little. We know very little about where Palin stands on the issues. It appears the republicans are trying to make her more appealing to independents (not me, but to some other independents). It makes sense that we would like to know more about her, if that's okay with you.
And Obama was an idiot for talking to O'Reilly, regardless of the reason. Talking to idiots like O'Reilly and Hannity legitimizes them. Surely Obama could have found a hostile interviewer who wasn't a complete sleazebag.
Palin is doing an interview this weekend with Charles Gibson at the end of this week. It will be in Alaska as she is flying home to see her son off to Iraq. It should be interesting.
Well I watched him interview McCain and Obama and I wasn't impressed. Both of these candidates were in control of the interview and I didn't feel it was a whole picture of either candidate.
He still did it so what's your point?? He actually has remained above McCain the whole time. Please, give him credit for doing it even if he didn't want to do it initially.
Joe Biden did half an hour on Meet the Press this week and answered questions on a wide variety of issues. Some of them not too pleasant for him. I wonder when Sarah Palin will be appearing? I have to say that we need
i'm sure lots of people on both sides will be interested to see that. but what else does she have planned?
as someone else pointed out, the hunger for information about her and from her directly is not just for gossip or to be a detractor - it's because we know so little about her compared to the other candidates.

forgot to add: and what other interviews have been planned?

what is the format you prefer? i am really looking for alternatives and not being snotty.
there is only one VP debate.
and it's not that i expect her to run for President: i'd just like to know how she interprets McCain's positions and plans to support him.
