I believe knowledge is power! Sex education is important but it also needs to be followed up at home also! My problem with Palin is that she wants to take away mine and other women's RIGHT TO CHOOSE away! If you don't want your child to have sex education that is your right but if I choose too then let that be my right also! That is my only problem with Palin! She thinks that all women should mother like she does! That is wrong! Palin does not believe in sex education, believes in outlawing abortion, and believes in cutting out health care for family planning programs! I'm sorry, I could care less about her pregnant child I'm more concerned about my RIGHTS as a woman being taken away! Yes we may have a first woman candidate but this woman may very well be the one that takes us back in time than takes us forward all the time while she benefits from the limelight!

"I don't think it is right or fair that anyone assume anything about how good or bad a mother she is!"
I agree. A specific argument against Palin that I think is WAY off-base is the one that goes, "She has so much going on in her life, she's got to be an irresponsible mother." We don't know this. What I do think is relevant is her willingness to promote her religion using her office:
Opposition to choice, opposition to gay marriage, opposition to sex education in the classroom, willingness to allow religious instruction (creationism, intelligent design) in the classroom.

None of these is sufficient in my mind to eliminate her from my consideration. Disagreeable and disappointing yes. I'm not sure yet what to make of the exaggerated claims of her performance and experience. The anti-bammers just repeat any stupid thing they've heard on FOX as if it came straight from God's mouth to their ears. They're not interested in finding out the truth. Just like with the creationism 'issue' they want to confuse things so people can't follow what's going on. That' why they raise all the red herrings. I don't know that Palin is truly representing herself as someone of vast experience with a credible reputation of "standing up to big oil."

It is wrong for you to minimize Obama's accomplishment's! You may not like him but don't try to minimize him! Obama to this day could be a top executive but he chose after graduating top in his class to go back to the slums of chicago to work with families that had lost their job's and homes and to fight for people's right's to have better housing! So don't try to minimize what he has done! Obama is a very intelligent, honorable man! He has not talked ill of Palin, as a matter of fact he said that for everyone to bring a child in this political circus is wrong! And you are wrong to try to throw dirt on him! Talk about the issues! Palin is wrong because she want's to take away my right as a woman to choose! She nor anyone else has the right to take that away! McCain and Palin are wrong because they want to continue the same failed policies of Bush! So let's stick to policies not try to tear people down and just remember: A VOTE FOR MCCAIN/PALIN IS A VOTE FOR MORE OF THE SAME!

I think she was just saying life is about choices and if you want to hold people responsible for their chooses you have to hold yourself responsible for yours. She may have meant (I am not her so I don't know) that since you feel those with out insurance shouldn't complain because they "chooses not to have insurance" then you choosing to live out in the country is your choice so you shouldn't complain about gas prices? I don't know, and I am not saying who's right or wrong, but I see her point (if that's what it is).

Answer me this....WHAT DOES MCCAIN OFFER? WHAT HAS MCCAIN DONE? All anyone can say is that McCain was a war hero! That is great but being a war hero does not mean you can run the country! Also McCain has done nothing but approve of Bush tax cuts that have gotten us into the mess we are in now! A VOTE FOR MCCAIN IS A VOTE FOR MORE OF THE SAME! Wake up America McCain offer's the same mess that we are in! Look at the economy, people loosing their homes, loss of jobs, no health care! McCain more of the same! We need change and that change is Obama/Biden!

Well fine, when someone is holding a gun to your childs head, you just look at them and say "oh you poor thing, I have compassion for you, so please don't kill my baby".

Is it worth innocent people dying so people like him can be killed? What if someone in your family was on death row for a crime he/she didn't commit? Would you want them(your family
