>>21 years of saved money will more than take care of any medical issue me or my family might have.<<
Oh. My. I sure hope you never get cancer or need kidney dialysis or a transplant, any one of which can easily exceed the lifetime cap on even the most generous of insurance policies, and any one of which can blow through 21 years of savings in a very short amount of time.
I'm not sure how my daughter is meant to "plan" for the future when her diabetes costs began at 3, when her pre-existing condition will quite likely prevent her from any sort of self-insurance policy, when she is quite likely to need dialysis and transplantation and perhaps at the age of, say 23, when she won't qualify for our insurance and won't have been able to save up those millions of dollars you must have to be able to be confident you won't ever have to worry about medical costs.
Palin may be a nice person and all but I really think that McCain has shown poor judgment in picking somenone that is under investigation! And I would say that if it was a man or woman! And it doesn't matter whether she is innocent or not! Tell me how would McCain really know that she is innocent? I don't want anything bad to turn out for this woman but I think it has been selfish on her and McCain to have her out here distracting from the serious issues of the economy, loss of jobs, homes and healthcare! Her pick really should put a question in everyone's man of whether McCain is the one to lead this country! McCain only met this woman once!! I do not want McCain making major decision's for this country after only asessing the situation only once! To me McCain is just too risky to be President!
McCain is against federal funding of birth control and sex education; his opposition included a vote against spending $100 million to reduce teen pregnancy by education and contraceptives.
McCain voted in 2003 and 2005 against legislation requiring insurance plans that cover prescription drugs to also cover birth control.

MONTANA MOM !
I have lost count of the posters who have claimed Palin wants to take away their "right to choose".

Feel free to prove your assertion. I know people who could not be listed for a transplant because they lacked the insurance to cover it. They died.
No insurance, no transplant. Period.

I see funding issues there.
MONTANA MOM !
Since the article by a special interest group was non-specific I assume they are protesting McCains not voting for public funds to pay for abortions.
