In my case it won't kill me, it will kill my daughter. I don't think it reasonable for her to die because some folks abuse the system.

And I truely don't understand folks who would say "sorry about your daughter and all, but some folks abuse the system so she'll just have to be a sacrifice for my belief that "worthless" folks don't deserve help"

I have never taken public assistance, neither has my husband. We've both worked, he worked while on dialysis, while getting and recovering from a transplant, while extremely ill. my husband was lucky, he didn't need dialysis until he was 35, so he had a good job with insurance benefits before he had no option but to accrue massive medical bills.

Working hard won't wipe away a $5 million dollar bill. Fortunately for him he married me about $2K before hitting the lifetime maximum on his insurance. If he'd reached that (and most policies have such an amount) then he'd have had to pay for his anti-rejection drugs out of pocket, about $2K a month right now for his 7 prescriptions. Lkely he will need another transplant at some point in time, though hes a poster child for the process right now. I have a very close friend who has kidney cancer, just lost his second kidney and is on dialysis. His wife has survived two bouts of breast cancer. They make too much money for federal or state assistance but are near their lifetime max benefits and he hasn't even had his tranplant. Likely he won't be able to be listed for one at all due to lack of insurance and will die on dialysis.

But hey, as long as no worthless people get something they aren't entitled to, I guess its all good.

Most definitely her being under investigation should be a very serious issue! Why would we want someone in office that we can't trust? ABUSE OF POWER shows me that she will fit in well with the BUSH/CHENEY crew!

YOu simply cannot teach people how to be humane...or have compassion, sympathy or empathy. That seems to be the major party difference..do you feel your fellow human beings are worthy...or worhtless? Would you help your fellow man....or ask what they can do for you? Can you give..or only take? Pretty accurate differences to me.

"What does this say about the Obama camp for exploiting this poor 17 yo girl?"

I haven't finished reading this thread, so maybe someone else has already addressed this, but this wasn't the product of Obama's camp.
